BuildBridge is an introduction service only. We are not the contractor, not a party to your work contract, and do not guarantee the quality of any work. BuildBridge does not verify contractors' insurance, WSIB coverage, or trade licensing — confirm these directly with any contractor before you hire.
How we keep the platform safe
- Verification. Contractors verify their email before they can unlock a lead (additional verification, such as a phone check, may be added as the platform grows). Business number and other business details are optional profile information, not a guarantee.
- Approval gate. Projects are reviewed before they go live to filter spam and non-serious posts.
- Contact never public. A homeowner's contact and full project details are never shown on the contractor browse board — they are withheld entirely and revealed only to a verified contractor who unlocks the lead.
- Lead integrity. You cannot unlock your own project, and each project can be unlocked by only a limited number of contractors.
- Report & block. Any user can report content or block another user; reports route to our admins.
